South-Eastern Australia and Tasmania in particular share similarities with France beyond our historical flirtations. Our climates produce overlapping and complementary products in the export markets of both countries. Business relationships are developing between the regions as some of these markets are being discovered. With similar climates, fruit, seafood, shellfish, wines and whiskies are beginning to develop healthy trade relationships between the two countries. Confidence in the quality and uniqueness of our products offers key markets in France and other Francophone countries. Similarly, off season markets of French products that are grown or produced here in Tasmania are sought in Asia. Developing sound relationships with French trade partners is an important consideration. 

 

As well as teaching French and English, I have also worked extensively in small business in Asia and Canada largely in the tourism industry and more recently in communications. I excel at combining my passions and developing healthy partnerships between business partners.
